I'm calling B.S. Nobody is really that stupid, and you can buy the DVD if you want, I think its just some guy doing some stupid stuff. It's obvious in the video that nobody is buying what he says.
A friend of mine went into an Advance Auto store years back and told the worker he needed muffler bearings for an 80's GM car. 5 mins later as he was checking out, the worker was still looking in the books for the bearing because it wasn't in the computer! ou: We both got a good laugh out of that one. So, your 6 year old is smarter than some Advance employees. :laugh:

Hey!, Maybe in the future there will be muffler bearings, like somthing spinning around inside. Don't see why there would be, but hey!, who knows??
That rattle did not sound like a muffler bearing to me uzzled: It sounded more like one of his piston return springs was going bad.... When those go the piston will not return to the bottom of the cylinder :Smarty: But, the muffler bearing could also be going bad o No: ou: ou: ou:
We conned a high school friend to ask a shop for muffler bearings. He also worked as a bagger at Kroger's, and a coworker had him searching for the bag stretcher. Someone else we knew was almost convinced that if he didn't have sex by age 30, he'd need an operation to function normally. He was a bit nervous, but the person who perpetrated the bag-stretcher joke couldn't torture him like that.
We used to send the greenhorn tech school kids out with a floor squeegee to the shop down the street and tell them to get it sharpened there because our squeegee sharpener wasn't working. There was like 4 shops in the area that would all play along and would send the kids on to the next shop saying that their's wasn't working either. Great fun. :laugh: So yes, people are really that stupid. :error:
I actually had a guy i knew in HS ask me if I thought his car would be faster if he took out the torque convertor!! ou: I told him to ttry it, it might be worth a shot! :laugh:
