As much as I love the MN Vikings, I must now admit their 6-0 start to the season was a fraud. Even after losses to the struggling Giants and Packers, I still had some hope they would rebound with an easier schedule following those games. But no, even the lowly Chargers are kicking butt on the Vikes today, with a 42-21 lead mid-4th quarter. Over and over the Purple give us hope of a chance for Super Bowl glory, only to crush our hopes with miserable failure. Doug Flutie??? Give me a break. MN's defense is defenseless! ou: I give up :boring:
It was a thing of beauty watching Brett shread that defense last week  I agree with you though the Chargers - oh boy....
AHHHHHHH Try being a BROWNS fan %$#$%@! Hey at least the school I teach at is into round three of the playoffs. GO PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!
I hear you David!! Not sure what's going on with the defense the last 3 games.o No: When your offense scores 27 or 28 points, you're supposed to win!!uzzled: Flutie is a winner...the guy makes things happen!! The Chargers would have made the playoffs last year with Flutie in there. Drew Breese isn't cutting it, in my opinion. At least not yet. I'm not giving up yet....I still think the Vikings are a playoff team. But, the defense better get it in gear!! The missed kick by Gary Anderson against the Falcons (at the end of the 15-1 season) still stings!!ou: :spank: ONLY missed field goal of the season.:stmad:
Give me a brake!!! No more boo hooing... Cincinnati hasn't had pro football in 13 yrs, not even the old Saints were ever that bad. :af: However, there is a bit of daylight now, but time will tell. Mike Brown must have finally realized he doesn't know football the way Paul did.:TU:
How about the Giants? SHEEESH.ou: I just sent for a Giants hat and shirt.Looks like I wont be wearing them when I go out.:ball: I think I remember a certain Steeler fan apologizing for the thrashing they were perceived to hand out on the opponents. Looks like we aren't the only ones who are crying.  Say Dan?uzzled: Pat
vikings next to playing with my gsx, watching and cheering for the green bay packers is my favorite past time. last week we exposed the swish cheese viking defense. nothing is more fun than when brett favre cuts up the chicago bears!
Re: vikings Oh, they were exposed before meeting the Packers... Even so, we're still ahead of GB :moonu:   :beer
Jeez. Try being a Notre Dame fan. They have no offensive line and the crux of their defense graduated last year. This better be a rebuilding year. Tyrone is a good coach, so let's just hope he can also recruit. Or how about Penn State???:af:
You're not kidding Jeff. Not a very good year for PS or ND. Quite a few of the 'name brand' schools have taken it on the chin this year!!
"Oh it's great to be a Michigan Wolverine! It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine!" That's what we were cheering from the 15th row of the student section after that beautiful drubbing of the non-fighting Irish. And we're catching em David - we're catchin em! :beer
Could be worse. The Bears IMHO are the WORST team in the league at this point. Hell, they lost to the Lions today, and they WERE the worst team. :gt:
Hey go easy on my lions and that juggernuant offense. Oh well, a win is a win. Now they just need a win on the road. 20losses in a row. At least we still have the Wolverines. I can't wait until they kick Ohio state's rear at the big house.
We got a couple really tough games yet there MG. Denver in Denver is always a tough one. And , believe it or not, I think theres one more out there. The Vikings in Minn. is gonna be interesting. They have a good shot at the fins' record but they have to keep their attitudes in check. And the "D" has to show up for every game. I was a Chiefs fan when they sucked and I am a Chiefs fan now that they are doing good. Be a fan, not a fanatic. Hope they keep rollin'. :TU: . Dante almost broke another one this afternoon too, :ball: . Maybe next week............ later...................................
any body follow 1-AA? you gotta play the montana grizzlies on home field! as for the vikings... well i remember seeing fran tarkington on saturday night live after THAT superbowl:ball: the only other team with as much of a heartbreak following is the raiders, but you gotta love to hate the boys in black:af:
you gotta wonder if by the time the chiefs finish this season if there will be any 72 dolphins with any nails left to bite. as a life long chiefs fan, its nice to see a well rounded team. but the best thing is the way dick weeded out the thugs and got a good bunch of guys with a higher than normal percentage of class. usually, this late in the season several have ben bailed out of jail or recieved federal indictments. if we can avoid serious injuries, stopping us will be difficult. BTW ...what was up with moss (vikings) just standin there on that late play?uzzled:
