Could use some assistance. I've recorded the following VIN number and Cowl Data Plate codes from what I believe is a 1972 Buick Gran Sport convertible small block (350) automatic transmission, 10-bolt rear, car. I want to be sure of what I have, the car and options and haver a guide for the restoration before beginning. The second number or letter below in quotes "" was difficult to read so my first guess was 8 and the other guesses follow. Any help is appreciated. Sean, Korrie, Thanks very much. Is there somewhere on the frame that I can check to verify its' originality (to the body) as well? I have a sand blasted Skylark convertible frame that is POR-15 finished) but will use the GS frame if unique to the VIN or cowl tag. Thanks again. Scott
