VIN = 4-Buick 46-GS400 37-2 dr. hardtop 8-1968 model year H- built in Flint Michigan 369103- sequence build number of the car, next one was 369104 TR should be 3 numbers, does yours have the 7 for the 2nd digit ? PNT will be either 4 numbers or 2 numbers & 1 letter. Vinyl roof car or paint?
WELL ON THE VINYL ROOF IT IS A VINYL ROOF. ON THE 7 IT COULD BE 2ND NUMBER I'LL LOOK CLOSER TOMORROW. SOMEONE LET A BUNCH OF BOLTS RUST ON THE COWL TAG AND IT NEEDS SOME ATTENTION. THANK YOU.
The label on the breather looks interesting. I don't know if it's possible to verify a '68, or even if the Stage 1 package was available in '68. Check in occasionally & the experts here will help out.
well i did a search las night and found that in 68 buick made a rare dealer installed stage one car and found that it might have also carried the 69 hood ? but i do know that the air cleaner i have for this is a pontiac. thank i will ask the pro later when i get home thank you
There was a dealer installed '68 Stage 1 kit and the '69 hood or air cleaner was not part of that package. Tough to prove that this kit was installed without original dealer paperwork. :beers2:
