Haven't been able to locate the VIN code on the 1972 GS frame (driiver-side door area about 16 inches behind the body mount) where I did locate it on my 1971 Skylark frame. The frame is rusted though and in need of media blast. Question though, could it be anywhere else? Also, anyone have a photo of their VIN plate rivets. Mine are not flat like those on the cowl data plate. Having trouble loading a pic that I took tonight of my VIN rivets.
