Hi ,what would be the best technique to apply my vinyl top on my Buick skylark and what glue to use thanks.
When I did mine the guy that helped me just sprayed contact cement on both surfaces let it tac and layed it out. stretching where it needed and using a heat gun to form it.Trim off the excess.
let's put it this way. i paid to have a local professional install the vinyl top on my '72 gs. worth every $$ to have it installed correctly..
I paid 325.00. My "Helper" owns an upholstery shop. Im sure it was done right. I know the material cost 1/2 that. Came in a pre cut kit.
