Guy drives through a puddle in his apartment complex, and his low cold air intake takes a big drink. Now he wants the apartment complex to play. Linky linky Thar she blows!
you would think when you install a intake that is 4 inches off the ground in the front bumper and you see a parking lot totally covered in water you wouldn't try and drive throught it  i know all our buicks wouldn't have had a problem though
Yeah, you see the pic of the water only like 4-5 inch deep. Heck I wouldn't have trouble with my sport compact . Tim
Heck, I've taken the summit through deeper water than that and at one point the exhaust was under the water gurgling but at least my intake wasn't under the water.
I think he's gonna have about as much luck getting any money out of the apartment owners on drainage as he would Mother Nature for being at fault for the heavy rain. Classic case of "trying to get blood out of a stone." ou:
Well gee, I hope he wins his lawsuit.... then I can run a hose from my air cleaner to the ground, and take my BBB that needs a rebuild to the same apt complex... free rebuild! Lots of comments on there like "don't tell them the car is lowered" and "hide the intake or you'll get squat". Is blatent fraud is a ricer trait?
Coming from a ricer - no. Only by jack... teenagers (in general, be it in the import world or the domestic world). Sucks that it happened to him, but that photo of the water screaming out of the Honda is hilarious.
I don't think the guy is a moron. If you read the whole story, he did this at 4 in the morning, with it pouring rain. He probably couldn't see all too well to begin with.
The "cold air intake" is the silver tube on the other side of the engine. I think the guy is pulling all their legs and they're all falling for it.
Go to the web site and look at the pictures on there. the water is coming out of the sparkplug holes, he has a few different pics
