How far is Hudson Falls from canada? I'm right on the border edge.Straight up from Albany and slightly to the left.
Theres a guy in conneticiut that does restorations. Specializes in Olds but... Heres the link http://www.442restoration.com/
Hudson Falls is right near Lake George, on the border near Rutland, VT. About 4 hours from Montreal, maybe 3 hours from the border or so (depends on what car I drive  ) Ive been meaning to get up that way, maybe I should take a ride :Brow:
Playing with "Paint" on my computer. Here's a shot of the car after I inverted the colors. It kinda looks cool. Green Chrome paint job.
I get to my brothers' place every year near there in Wells, VT. JUst across the border from Granville, NY. His wife inherited an old gangster's mansion on Lake St. Catherine there. Her Dad bought it 20 years ago and restored it. Gorgeous place. Unbelievable fishing. Too bad you can only use it 2, maybe 3 months out of the year.
Maybe I'm closed minded and an old fart or something. I just CAN NOT get in to this look of........musclecars with a high altitude stance, 22 in. rims, and the rubber band tires. Even on these reality build up shows they put all this stuff on these cars. Beautiful cars but the wheels and the stance whether too low or high just kills it for me. I have a great appreciation for a classic look. And if the car looks close to stock and is very fast, it makes a great sleeper. I love GTOs, but this one ( in my humble opinion ) has a bit of work left to be done. Ok I'll go sit back in my rocking chair now  LOL !!!
Thanks Shirl !!!! John : I think we all agree with you on that so don't feel like you said something you shouldn't. I only did what the customer wanted..... it's his car not mine. I tried to get him to lower the car back down to the original height but he likes the 4x4 look. Just so you know I didn't put all that HD suspension in it for him, it was already like that when it showed up. I put the 18" wheels on it though (my bad). If he put a set of 15" aftermarket rims on it I would look better than this. Different strokes for different folks. That's what makes this world go round.
