I am looking for a 1965 skylark, standard or gs, automatic with a v8. I want a driver quality as that is what i will do, drive it! I just retired and want to relive my days with the 65 i had in 69 and 70. Great memories. Any assistance is appreciated as i am finding out how many rag tops are out there.yes, i would like a hardtop as i live in arizona and summer trips are a bit warm with ragtops. Hey Elwood... I just saw this car a local fello is selling: 65 Lark, 2 door, nice interior, the only issue is it sports a LT1 and 4 speed... Hot Rod black matt finish, some kinda green top... he says he would drive it to Flint without giving it a second thought...I personally dont care for the LT1 option but he says he gets 21mpg and he loves shiftin' gears... He's asking a reasonable $8500... If you can work out a deal, simply fly to Tampa International Airport, he'll meet you there and voila, you are on your ROAD TRIP trip back to AZ!!! :TU: Lemono if you are interested!
