    If anyone comes across a pair of 69 GS quarter panels ? They could be possibly picked up at the Nationals

    You may already know but the fit and finish on these usually require a bit of work to make look good. just a heads up. Some metal may need to be added or removed.

    FYI, Tabco has 69 rear quarter panels listed on their web page again. Read a Facebook post that they ran a batch and were calling people who had been on a wait list.

    We found some including originals for the project several months ago. Good to know they are being produced again.

    I wonder looking at the photos of the Parts Place quarters;

    From anyone who has used these, does the leading edge extend to the door? The photo above looks like it would be too short and leave a vertical seam in the panel?

    Yes they do extend to the door. The body line where it wraps around is not as crisp as the original. As stated previously they take some work.

    Thank you guys for sharing the wealth of your experience... It means a lot.

    I also wonder several other things... Is this part the same on post cars? I assume it is? Hopefully not making an ass out of me.

    Are all the people selling these selling the same part?

    Parts place on eBay wants $679.99 for this part. Free shipping.
    Tabco on their website wants $374.75 with a flat rate of $30 for shipping.

    If it's the same part Tabco is a lot better deal. Plus if you buy both sides the shipping is still $30.

    Thanks again!

    I am amazed they can ship even one for $30.00 just a box big enough has to cost them $20 to $30. They must have amazing shipping discounts.

    Right? I am guessing that will turn into a different # after I actually order. It must be an over the road trucking situation due to size?

    Shipping will be more like $150 per panel. Someone on the board bought one and thats what they said. If enough guys want quarters i can pick them upand deliver to BG next month for a small fee.

    That's how I did mine a month ago. I cut just below the upper body line on this one...seemed to work out ok. I hate those 40' long welds, though. Ugh. I kept the factory door jamb too.

    Did you butt, overlap or flange weld?
