The perfect car would be a red Stage1 convertible, white top and interior. Will consider other colors but must be in good to excellent condition.

I bought one new in 1968 and sold it to a guy in Escanaba, MI. I have been looking for that car for years. No luck....

Good luck. You are definitely at the right site. Looking myself and these guys are very helpful.

You may want to go to www.stage1registry.com and get in touch with the guy who runs it.

My friend in Boise has a triple white conv. all you have to do is get him to sell it, he is a pack rack and does not sell diddly, but please do not mention that part, e-mail is stevenemurdock@yahoo.com
but you are gonna have to pry it from his hands, he needs to sell it just
    because.

The other car belongs to "Eric" on the board here from Portland, OR, it is a 69 GS clone, very nice car.

Chris, What would a price be for your stg. 1? I might have a buyer for my 68 and then I should be on the hunt for a new one. Thanks Jan

That car is listed as no reserve, but he will just end it early when it doesn't get as high as wants. He is a flipper/dealer who runs cars fairly regularly on eBay. He is asking $12,900 on CL. Previous owner was asking $11k on CL and I am sure he sold it for less than that, as he just wanted out of it. It is NOT a nice car, plent of stuff wrong with it and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone who asked.

I forgot to mention that my friend Steve's 69 GS400 is a Stage 1, I saw that I forgot to put in that minor detail:Dou: and it is triple white

I have seen Chris car last month ( thats mine parked next to it) at the Pullaup Buick meet and it has perfect paint and the engine bay is beautiful as it should be. You cant go wrong with his Stage 1 silver convertible.

I sent an email yesterday, no response. I know of two people looking for a 69 convert, but they prefer a light colored interior and exterior. This car would work for them.

Hey guys, thanks for all the good ideas and leads. Some of these are great cars, but a little out of my price range. I'll keep an eye on this site as well as eBay. Something will come along.

Steve, regarding the user name, sometimes you just get lucky. I guess I should buy a lottery ticket...
