Wanted: 1970 - 1971 Buick GS OR GSX Project Car. ANY CONDITION!!

Hi Folks,

I am looking for a 70 or a 71 GS 455 OR GSX 455 IN ANY CONDITION!! I am looking for a project car. i have been searching for 2 years now and have not found one yet! Please if anyone knows of anyone selling any of these cars please let me know. once again a project car. (rolling chassis, ok. cond.... doesnt matter.. ) personally i prefer just a shell with or without motor etc..

How hard is it folks?

question: I mean how hard is it to find a rolling chassis or a bad condition 1970 or 1971 buick GS 455 OR GSX i mean i have been looking for 2 YEARS NOW and NOTHING!!! i am just about ready to call off my search i've been looking for a buick project cars for years now and nothing. why? should i just call of my search or does anybody know where i can find one of these things.

Well Leo, this is probably the most-read Buick board going, so this is likely the best place to be searching. Good luck, you should be able to find a car thru V8Buick. Maybe not a GSX though...

Never Quit

It took me 14 years to get my GSX, I never quit until December 23, 2004 morning 26 inches of heavy wet snow colasped 3 buildings on the farm, one 37'X72' and two 50'X330' buildings. Cost me $110,000. more than insurance paid me. Plus a lot of lost income. My GSX money was GONE! Did not look for a car for 4 to 5 months. When I did look again and found a nice one that I could not pass up I said f*** it, went to the bank and got a loan for most of the money. I figured if I don't do it now I will never get my dream car.Am I happy :grin: Hell Yes! farmer!boy
