Wanted: 350 Valve covers

I am looking for a set of cast aluminum valve covers for a
1972 Buick 350 . They have the word Buick cast into them .

Thanks for the reply about the valve covers . I know
about T/A and Postons but they are not the ones I
am looking for . I have seen a picture of a set that are
cast , finned , and have just the word Buick on them .
Any one know the where abouts of a set like that ?

You sure those finned covers are for a 350? Don't think I've heard of those.

 

Saw a picture of them on a motor that was For Sale on E-Bay
some time ago . If I remember right the guy that was
selling it was from Michigan . I guess it's going to be like
finding a needle in a hay stack . I went to the car show in
Carlisle ,PA in October and came away empty handed .
But I'll keep looking .

nailhead maybe?

You might have seen a nailhead moter,early 60's not the same as a 350

 

I'm positive what I saw was not a Nailhead . I have double checked the pictture .
