I am in the market for a new project. I am looking for a 2 door sedan or wagon model only. I would prefer a '62 or '63 Skylark or '62 Olds. I will consider other years. I would something with a solid body, motor and trans not important. I also need something with a good matching title. I am in OH so close is a plus but I am willing to travel for or ship the right car. Thanks for any assistance. I am into hot rods so I may have something to trade if that would be of interest to you.
Not enough posts to post a link :denver.org/cto/2184922949.html. IT is a 62 special, the guys no.720-949-0125
I have a '62 Skylark 2 door, engine and trans are not in it, but it has a really nice body. It's been siting since the early '90's and I am located in KS. Pm me for more details if you want.
hey JMan! You need a reason to come to Florida about now, DONT YA?? Hows this: all original. stored inside since 86. COMPLETE. non running. clean title. Owner has it listed for $1800. PM me for details if interested! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Still looking, would like to find something fairly close so I do not have to spend a grand to get it to me.
Hey J Man... refer back to post #5. POSSIBLY... it could possibly be arranged to meet you halfway ...Chatanooga maybe? I've talked to the seller and he says he may offer this as an option however, you will have to pay for the car in full prior to delivery. . . something to consider. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
J Man,........I have just what the doctor ordered! Don't bother spending all the time and money into "fixing one up"! Buy one that's done!! Just outside of Madison Wisconsin. Not mine, just saw it for sale on the web the other day. Have a good one! GSJohn http://www.miltonauto.com/inventory/default.asp?ID=1209
I tried doing the finished car thing, did not work for me. I found too much that I did not like about the car and would have to change. It does not make sense to spend $10k or more on a finished car and put another $10k into it. I would rather buy a $2k or less car and put $10k into it to get it the way I want. I think I found a car it is just a matter of working out the details with the owner, hopefully tomorrow.
Back up to post #5!!! A nice short VACA with the wife to Florida, along with some talent,. . . imagination.... time... investment dollars,. .it could look like this: :beer
Alright you JACKWAGON!!! to set the record straight,. . . the car is now in a carport, but WAS INSIDE his pool equipment warehouse for 20+ years... ou: Jeeeze Carl! :Brow: :TU:  Wheelz, Tampa Bay
