    George,

I've missed some activity - I see you have a 4-spd 'vert in your signature. What's the story on that one? Resell the red auto. from out my way?

I don't know anyone directly, but I can try to find someone.

Rumor was it was owned by a doctor. He was the original owner, but sat on it a number of years without ever doing anything with it. During that time it sustained some water damage from a flash flood (not serious, just the carpet & doorpanels, kickpanels, etc). He eventually bought a different house, and while helping him move, another doctor saw the car. The second doctor bought it and brought it back to the condition you got it in.

What I know to be true of the car's history is this:

It sat for years under a car cover just three blocks from where I live now. I agree with the rumor that the owner moved. I remember seeing the house for sale. I disagree it would have sustained flood damage while there. We're nowhere near a flood prone area. I spoke to the owner about it in the late 80's-early90's. I do remember him saying something about water damage, but I remember it being from a leaky or ripped top.

Its easy enough to walk over to the house and ask the current residents what they know of the previous owner. I'd expect they'd remember his name.

If that doesn't pan out, I know someone else who had looked at buying it back around '95. He's pretty good at keeping track of names, he may have a note on it. Its a long shot, but he kept track of my name that same ten years in relation to the '67 I just bought from his brother(-in-law?).

With the holidays coming I won't get much of a chance to do any research, but should be able to after the Christmas rush.

The guy i bought i bought it off was a doctor and i think it may have been the second owner, his name was Scott Osadchuck,he said he had bought it off a friend of his which was a doctor also,it may have been through a minor water leak but nothing major as the floors and everything else are still in mint condition,if you can get me any names and info i`d really appreciate it,i just want to track some history on this car.

    Thanks

    Hi George

Quick update - noticed the same Toyota-thingy sitting in front of the house I remember from years back - may be the same guy there yet after all,or a relative of the current residents; dunno. Maybe we'll get lucky on that.

My Fiancee' is standing here & was quite surprised to see Scott's name - he's the brother-in-law of one of our bridesmaids! Small world! (Altho it wasn't quite small enough --- you still got to the car before me...)

Anyway - I haven't forgotten & will get over there after Christmas for you. I just won't have the time 'til then. I

George - Was wondering if you've seen this lowered 67 GS 340?

Pretty nice car with Air Ride Tech. full suspention, 18's, etc.

Plus, he's asking a bunch less than he has into it.

    67 Gs340

I have seen that 67 GS 340 a year maybe 2 ago. Was on Traderonline for like a year for $8900. Unfortunately the rear quarters are all mud, it did have the disk brake rallies on it then with good centers and rings att. Maybe I should call and see if they have the original rims they removed.
