Looking just for a nice decent 70-72 GS Convertible driver. Don't need any numbers matching, just real GS. Want to shift gears with top down Have around $10K to spend. I'm in IL Ph 847-401-1332 Thanks.

A few months back, I was looking for something similar, but with a 20-22 K budget. Had no luck at that time. Good luck with your search.

A friend of mine is selling his 72 GS350 convertible, but it is now a 455 4 speed. The car has a lot of rust on the underside, some rust in the core support area, and some patches in the trunk but he is only asking $10k. I can put you in touch with him if interested, just send me a PM. Here are a few pics of the car - some taken several years ago when he bought it, and some were taken 11/2011. It's a great car for $10k IF rust doesn't bother you.

1972 Stage 1 Thanks. GSXer go for it. I appreciate the info. Not crazy about the color and looking for something a little more original. I know I can't be picky with the amount of money I have. Thanks for contacting me.

For $11k I'll throw in a re-chromed 5335 shifter handle if it bothers you that much.

That shifter is out of Hermans car not Freddys. That trans and shifter is out of my BBB powered 55 studebaker, never hunted down a new stick for it. Car is still for sale, spending all my time drag racing the stude. It's a fun driver, just gonna need floor pans some day.

Hey Bill. Glad to see you back on the board. You may want to list your car in the "Cars for Sale" section, and don't forget to offer free delivery to the GS Nats in Bowling Green can be arranged if someone buys the car in advance. I can help you post the pics since I have them loaded in my picture storage already.
