Wanted 70-72 GSX, GS or GSX Clone I would prefer a numbers matching 1970 Stage 1 car in good condition with little or no rust repair. I will also consider any good GSXs, GS 350s, GS 455s or GSX clones from 1970 to 1972. I would like to find one on the east coast near Virginia because I do have a lot of time to travel, but I will consider others. Prefer bucket seats and as original as possible, A/C and other options would be a plus. Either auto or 4 speed would be OK.
I have a VERY nice 70 GS455 that is loaded. $27K. PLEASE if interested in pics use my EMAIL only Mclassik@aol.com
Thanks , I do have my eyes open but have not seen want I am looking for yet. When I find the right one I will buy it.
Twmson There has been a lot of cars come up from various sources that have fit your posted criteria. Maybe you should post and describe specific GS cars that would put your search to an end Just trying to help.
Rich, thanks for your input. It is true that many nice cars have come up while I have been looking. My biggest problem is location. I work 6-7 days a week and cannot find time to go look at them. I have passed on a couple that I now regret. This is what I would prefer: 1970 Stage 1, number matching and documented, bucket seats, A/C, a good #2 car that is original as possible and is ready to drive and enjoy. It needs to be near Virginia or the southeastern part of the country. I will also consider 1971 and 1972 Stage 1's and possibly a very good non-stage car. The price must be fair for the car as based of NADA book prices. I am not in a rush to buy one so when the right one comes up, I will get it. I want to make sure I get what I want because it may be the only one I get. Thanks for the help.
