I am not sure how many years DOG DISH HUB CAPS were made and what cars they came out on. I have a 67 skylark that I am finally getting completely the way I want it, I have drag studs on her all the way around and getting my rallye wheels situated, but want a hub cap that covers the studs.. Making it sleeper-ish..:idea2: help with posting pics of what the different years are and so one would be great. I will have measurements of how wide they have to be. 67 dog dish caps would be awesome.. But open to whatever people have that they wanna get rid of.. thanks in advance
If you have the long studs, the dog dish caps won't cover them. When I was running them, I left the back ones off on the street, with nice correct lug nuts. It actually looks pretty sweet. Our track won't let you run hubcaps, so they all have to come off at the strip. I saw somebody at the nats one time that drilled holes in the caps to clear the studs. The price is insane on them now. There is a beautiful set on e-bay right now, but they will go high. I bought a perfect set of 4 in 1986 for 5 bucks. I payed $175 for 3 NOS ones 2 weeks ago. A very nice full set will likely go for over 200 bucks.
Would you post pics or send them to me through email-jessdarper@yahoo.com Very interested in them Thanks Madmax69- I have a set of older 60s bubble styled caps, but they fit the older steel wheels, and I wanted to go with the rallyes..but we shall see how it is. NO worries about me drilling out to make room on the caps, they are too hard to come by...lol I will post pics when I am done an show how it turned out..
also looking for a set of steel wheels, from the 60s to the 70s, 4.75 bolt pattern I am understanding from a friend that this is the what I will need for the hubcaps I have right now, but still interested in larkone's hubcaps
