WARNING: Check the jam nuts on your anti-rollbars

While racing this past weekend in Norwalk, I noticed that my car seemed to be twisting up some. I figured the anti-roll bar was out of adjustment and would need attended to when I got home. Then I seen this pic of my car and thought, oh my, I must have broke one of the links.

This is how it should look.

Last night I got under the car to check it out. The whole bar had flipped backwards. In other words the links where pointed towards the back of the car and the arms where pointed straight at the ground, it had gone over center. I checked all the jam nuts on the links and they where all loose. I guess what happened was that the links just kept getting shorter and shorter and then last week when I had the car up and down on a lift, the bar flipped backwards when I put it back on the ground.

Nothing seems broke or damaged, so I'll get her fixed up for B.G. I just wanted to let everyone else know what happened so maybe they could avoid the samething.

    Hi Shayne,
You think that view is bad, you ought to see the other side! She's twistin' hard! That's Bob Scuza (Slusser) in the black/white jacket and me next to him w/ the camera in front of my face at the rear of your car. It was good to see you again.

Ya...but how was the 60ft?........

I check all the rear suspension bolts everytime before I load up to go to a race. Check the most of the tranny and motor bolts every 3rd or 4th race....I do find stuff loose occasionally.....
