Was white interior available in 1971?

    Here is how the "white" interiors went'
    66-67 Dove (an off white color, darker then the 72 white)
    68 Pure White
    69-71 Pearl White
    72 Off White

    The 69-72 colors will all look the same in the pics, so if you want to see the difference it would have to be in person, or by looking at a sample.

    If you are doing the entire interior you should consider two things,
    1. It is very expensive to do all this, therefore if you pick a "year" correct interior color you would be better off.
    2. When buying any of the above interior colors make sure you buy everything at the same time and that includes a top boot as well. That way you don't run into different dye lots, which vary.

    71 had Ivory available, at least up North. Notchback bench in a convertible, TR155. Bucket seats in a coupe, TR165. This might be an equivalent to another colour name in the US.

    The all pearl car is John's factory show car. 1 of 1 That color goes great with the exterior. The car wasn't meant to be driven. We did everything but the carpet....JC gets ALL the credit for that.. As far as Florida goes, all of the glass in the car is clear.
