Quick question. When my head took a dump on me it also dumped a nice amount of water in my exhaust. Im thinking at least two gallons.:Dou: Anyways how long for this to evaporate?
I just finished the heads and all is fine not loosing coolant but I'll be damned when the engine is hot I guess some of that water in the exhaust system is evaporating and the white smoke come and goes:Do No:

    Ivan,

Is it water or antifreeze? I know antifreeze dosen't evaporate like water, if at all.

It shouldn't be too long as the exhaust is running well over 1000 degees at times. The more you drive it the faster it'll evaporate.

My car blew white smoke for a while after I started it back up.

Even after it does burn out....the smell of antifreeze will probably linger around for a while. Good reason to keep driving!!
