Water Spots/Tree Sap In Paint?

For as long as I can remember my car has had spots resembling water spots
covering almost the whole car. Another thing I thought it could be is tree sap.
I have tried everything I can think of. The quick spray shine/wax, rubbing
compound/wax, shine remover, and I just bought a can of Turtle Wax Bug
Remover which is also suppose to take off tree sap. That didn't work either. I
have also found a Meguires (SP?) wax/polish that takes out water spots and
inperfections but that is only suppose to be used with a rotary buffer. I have
a small tiny buffer bought from Fleet Farm but figured I would need a high
    speed one.

My questions are this. Can I use that Meguires product with my buffer?
Secondly, is there a product that will fix this problem or am I just screwed?
    Thanks guys!

You can try the clay bars that are out.If that doesn't work your paint is probably etched by acid rain or tree sap and the only fix is to refinish/paint car. :ball:

Thanks for the quick reply. I will definitley try the clay bars. Where would I
buy those, Napa/Autozone? Thanks, I really hope it doesn't need a repaint
becuase I know that won't be happening for a LONG time.
