Anybody had any luck with finding a quality wax that actually looks good and last longer than 2-3 months. Last stuff O tried was Meguiars NX-T but it doesn't last any longer than the cheap stuff. Need something for a vehicle kept outside in Fl. Turtle Wax used to make a wax called "Extreme" but they stopped making it and my stock ran out.

Zainos is good .....New Finish (old school cheap wax available at Kmart ) has alot of paint moisturizer in it but you have to buff it out alot to get it even ,,,, when you look at it from angles you will see some spots darker than others so to get rid of it you have to buff it out more .....I also like "The wax shop" wax...it comes out like water out of the bottle but is pretty decent and doesnt turn to white haze in grooves around emblems etc. comes off really easy ......you can buy it online. I just bought some turtle wax "Ice" I think its called ..its clear in the bottle like water - will let you know how it works out - just figured I would give it a shot .
For scratches an old school carnuba paste in a tin I like "Maguires Cleaner Wax" ...it has a mild abrasive in it- but can remove scratches. Carefull using it on clear coats - but can be done ...... J

Tried the "ICE" brand wax tonight...looks like water and doesnt dry really ever to a real haze etc...its full of moisture for the paint....as a result its hard to get it even ..i.e. you have to buff it a ton to get it all off without streaking and for even darkening of your paint ....but it does big time moisturize / darken your paint a tad....my car is burgundy mist so it was easy to see where it wasnt buffed enough....if you buff it enough you will eventually get rid of the streaking J

Under normal condition I never had a perferct finish and have always had good luck the turtewax color match wax. Really hides the scratches.

For a quick wax the eagleone wipe n shine works great, easy on and off, makes chrome look wet.

Though I did pick up some NUfinish the other day to try and get some more shine in my sun dry roof and hood on my Firebird. Painted 4+ years ago and never waxed. It did help a little but didn't bring back the shin how they show on TV.

No doubt. For number of opinions oil and wax tie for first place IMO.

I'll join on this one. I'm always open to trying out new ones, but thus far I'm completely sold on Meguiar's products.

    Maguiars #26 yellow wax :TU:

It is a lot of work to remove when compared to some spray on quick waxes so I use it about once a year and touch up with a spray wax (I like the 3M color enhancer quick wax)

I like all the Maguiars products that come in the tan bottles. They are a better quality than the brown bottled Maguiars products.

The key to a clean spotless car is using the "the Absorber" to dry your car.

Maguiars makes a bunch of good stuff but I didn't like their quick wax.
There was nothing quick about it but putting it on.

    Think its watered down #26
