I just spoke with one of my buddies on the Left Coast and it sounds as if there are a couple of guys that are going to have there cars brought back to Michigan and play with us this fall! A couple of Oldsmobiles, 1) '69 W-30 4-speed post car, 3.91 gears, no PS, original unrestored car- and if I understood him correctly 2) another '69 H/O that is also unrestored! Sounds like we have a dance craze that is spreading acrossed the nation! :3gears:
That'd certainly win the long distance award. Long way to come for a race, what else are they coming out this way for? Olds Nats? Where is that this year? Hurst Olds Nats are at Dick Miller n Norwalk, right? That'll be sweet. I don't think we've had a 68 or 69 W30 at Pure Stock.
That's awsome!!! Do you know whereabouts in CA these folks are from? Seems there are no Olds folk in this side of the coast, just 1 that I know who lives about an hr north of me, if I ever get back into the car thing I'd like to try to bring a PS/FAST race to Famoso Raceway which is about 20-30 minutes away from here, here being Bakersfield, CA
