I live in Canada so we don't have very many major Buick events but we have our few days. We have a Buick Day ( Canadian version of the G.S. Nationals) and the Canadian version of the Buick-Olds-Pontiac Challenge. In my city of Windsor we have around 20 GN's ( One owned by my Dad) and a few older Buicks including one that would take home an award @ the Nats. The Buick Day is the first event in the summer. I am three hours away from St. Thomas Dragway ( Two by Buick) and we drive the car. It will run an 11 which is pretty good. It is overall a good event. The B.O.P. Challenge is the last event of the summer for the Buick people. The day of the event we find out that it is going to rain. But we decided to go anyway. About 5-10 minutes before we get there it rains on us. As we drive by there are only five cars there in the rain. We decided not to go. But out of the five cars there were four Buicks and a Nova. Two of the cars will run at least nines and the other two were die-hard Buick racers. But the point is that either we were the only ones to make the trip despite of rain warnings or the other cars left because of the rain. Thats why the Buicks rule! It also proves that you gotta go to the U.S. to see the best Buick races.
