I have bought another body for my heap and I think its a good idea to totally replace the weather stripping. especially since the shell has none. OPG is the only place I've seen that offers a total kit. And I know, OPG is not the best place to buy anything in terms of price and stocking. any other place that offers a kit? I'm not sure what to buy, but I want everything. problem is, I have no idea what "everything" consists of. Thanks Joe

Try and find a source for the Metro Brand. I find all repro weatherstrip is harder than original but the metro door strips are better than Soft Seal I think. I do not know about Steel rubber brand. One thing i would recommend is buying the original Latex skin covered type weatherstripping from Ames Performance Pontiac. this is the good stuff GM used and is much better than the other stuff that is harder so you have to slam the trunk several times. A real pet peave of mine. The trunk stuff is pricey about $60 I think. They sell both types but the Latex way better. i wish they would make the door and roof rails with this stuff like GM did but we are kind of stuck with what you can get.
