Picking up a 67 Skylark hardtop and the seal/molding between the front and rear windows is missing and I am trying to find the parts I need.

Also is a hardtop a two door sedan or couple? I am not sure of the difference, but I believe I found the seals but they make two different ones, I will link them and hopefully you guys can help me out here!

I found 3 different options so hopefully we can figure this out, I am going a distance to get this car, and will be driving it back about 1200 miles, and would like the car sealed up on the way back.

I don't think the last one is right, it looks way too small.

Now this is what I thought they would look like.

    So help folks!!!

Are you talking about the chrome strip and seal that goes on the quarter window?

    1967 quarter window seal

Goes on the edge of the rear quarter window as shown here.

I would presume so yes, I have yet to actually see the car since it's 1200 miles away, and I am hoping to have this part when I pick it up.

But I was told there is about an 3/4" gap between the two windows, so that's the only piece I can think of that would be missing.

Ok, the 3/4" gap between tells me that yes, the first link I gave you is the one you need. Depending on whether the rear quarter window has the chrome strip still attached and looking good, you can purchase just the rubber seal that slides in, but often times, the chrome that is fastened on to the window itself is chipped or peeling and looks like crap. OPGI, CARS, as well as the ebay link I gave you would fix you right up.

The only thing I am not sure on, because I haven't done it yet, is how the chrome strip adheres to the window. Once I get the seals myself, and go to install, I'm sure it will be evident. They probably glue on, but I'm guessing.

Looks like OPGI might be pretty affordable too.

    Chrome pieces, pair.

    Rubber seal, pair.

Thanks for your info Jon, when do you think you will be doing the seal job? I won't be picking the car up until the end if April so if you do it before that then I will know what I need to do when I pick the car up.

It will be a long time, a year or two. Too many other things in line first, like stripping paint, assembling doors, attaching front end, engine. Just the little things.

If you are buying a 2 door coupe then what Jon said is correct.
The first 2 links in your original post are for the window inner and outer felt seals.
The last link is for 68 and newer and are on the inside corners of the front windshield and not used on a 67.
Your 3rd link is probably correct.

They slide into the chrome that is glued to the quarter glass.

    Hope this helps.
    Good luck.
