does any body know the weight diffrence between a 67 skylark Gs and the monte above i am building a 300 with aluminum heads and would like to get into the 14's with it also there is a member that has a 65 Sklark with a 300 and he is putting like 300 horses to the rear wheels i was wondering would this put my 67 into the 14 with a th350 and 3.23 gears thanks Adam

I wondered what the curb weight of a 67 California GS would be also since I found an article were Car Life magazine tested it in the 1/4 and it ran like a 16.7 with the Turbine 300 and 3.08 gears. If some has to et info about these cars please post it here.:beer
Soon I bought a CA GS last month, its in transit right now. I have the same ??, how much does it weigh? We have a truck scale at work, I can get a good weight if the thing ever gets delivered. Slow, broke down car transporter been in TX somewhere getting worked on. Supposed to be here last tuesday, my patience is getting worn out.
Just got my 340 GS from the transporter last night. What a fiasco. My only karmic payback is the driver will not have the same job tomorrow. Car picked up in CA on Nov. 19, delivered on Dec. 14... Coulda shipped it by barge through the Panama Canal faster. It may be a while before I get the weight, It has no brakes right now! Later!
