Like the title says, I'm going to try and sell my 1971 Skylark convertible GS clone. I have had this car for about two or three years. I bought this car in El Paso, TX. When I bought this car it was a Skylark Custom 350. I have since added all of the GS trim including original metal hood, original GS rear spoiler and rally gage kit. The car has a disc brake front end and a complete rebuild kit on front end. I deleted the a/c but have the complete a/c set up if you want to reinstall it. I replaced the original 350 motor with a 455, but still have the 350. I installed a complete air ride cool wave system. It has new front tires but needs the back tires replaced. It's got 15" weld wheels. This is a 90% rust free car. The trunk has rust that needs attention. It's covered up with carpet for the air ride tank. The trunk has had some panels added (see pics). Some of you may remember that the car was painted at the beginning of this year. I would say the paint job on the car is a good driver quality. It has flaws but it looks great going down the road. I've had many compliments on the color. Its a 2010 Dodge Inferno Red Crystal Pearl. At the time of paint, I replaced all of the weather stripping. The car runs and drives great. The stitching is coming undone on the seats, no rips or tears. The main thing it needs is a new convertible top. I've given this car a lot of attention. I don't have to sell, but would like to pay off some bills and finish some other projects. If someone buys the car, I have several extras I can throw in but won't sell separately. The wife says I have over 15k invested in this car so I'm pretty firm at 12k. If anyone has more questions or would like to call, you can reach me on my cell at 785-554-2906.

Nice Car. I just bought one in July so not for me but I love the way you finished it off, especially the trunk area with the side panels. Nice job. Did you make those??

Best of luck on the sale.
