What 200-4R transmission mount?

Those of you who are using a 200-4R in your car, what transmission mount are you using? I have the original style mount for the car, which has two bolts to hold it to the crossmember. I have a vibration, and although this may be grasping at straws, it has been suggested that I use the single bolt style that came on the transmission. Does this make any sense to anyone?

Most 200R4's came with a transmission mount that had two bolts that mounted the mount to the transmission and one bolt (or stud) from the mount that bolted to the cross member.

    Bill,
I used the original style mount from my th-350 with the spacer that came with the 200R4 I picked up. But, I also have a vibration that I haven't figured out. The vibration was there with the th-350 trans also, so the mount isn't the problem. Check your driveline angles, both horizontal and vertical meaning as you would look at it if you standing over the top and looking down at it front to back. My engine and trans are pointing down 4.5 degrees and rear axle was 1 degree down. I put on adjustable upper control arms for the rear axle and brought the axle up to 3.5 degrees giving me negitive 1 degree instead of the neg. 5.5 I had. The vibration isn't as bad but still not right. I think I have an alignment problem with eng. and trans in relation to the rear axle, something you may want to look at.

No, I have adjustable uppers and have already been through all the angle stuff. In fact, I've covered all the bases that I feel is humanly possible. Like I said, I'm probably grasping at straws here but one guy suggested that I may have the wrong mount and I was just looking for thoughts on it. More than likely it's in the transmission but it still works perfectly so I suppose I am looking for one last trace of a reason not to replace it.

I use the Th350 mount with two holes.

There is a 1" difference from the mounting surface to the centerline of the output shaft on the trans between the ST-300 and 200r4. I have the same vibration and will try shimming the trans up as much as possible (floor interference) .25" at a time until the vibration goes away.

I think you may have the same issue.

I think I've posted this once before, probably in another thread, but I have a digital angle finder and have the trans and the pinion yoke on a perfect '0' plane with each other and the driveshaft at a 1.6 degree angle down and up and it made no difference. Maybe I need a little more than that, although everything I read on the subject indicates 1-5 degrees for the street is acceptable with 1-2 being ideal so I figure I'm right where I need to be.
