What brand ring and pinion for the 8.5 rear end?

    I bought new moser 30 spline axles, eaton posi, US gear ring and pinion set and all new seals and bearings of course.The shop didn't install the gears properly and the gears made noise, so I took the rear end to another place and they told me that the ring and pinion set is trashed.

    So what brand ring and pinion set would be the best and what else needs replacing? Do I need a new crush sleeve? I have the 8.5 rear end.

    I have Yukon gears. They are dead silent. I know Monzaz can get them for you. It might even be what he recommends.

    I too have Yukon that I got from Monzaz.

    You will need the gears, a new crush sleeve, pinion seal, and probably pinion bearing.

    I did get all the parts from Monzaz but I don't have the time to get new parts from him. I have to get the car running in a round two weeks.
