I am in the process of rebuilding my '70 GS 350 motor. It will have 10.25 pistons, slight head porting, stock q-jet and TA headers. It has 3.23 gears. What camshaft would work best with this combo?

Just my personal opinion but you might try the TA 310 cam or give TA a ring and see what they recommend. The 310 I think is the next one up from their 212 which is as follows:Intake @.050 218 Exhaust..230 Advertised 265 Intake,Exhaust 280 , Lift .459 Intake ,Exhaust .470:TU: Good luck, picking a cam is like choosing your favorite candy !!!!

    gscalifornia Small blocks rule!!

I have a '69 350 block with TRW 10.25:1 forged, slight head porting, TA headers with 2 1/2" muffler shop duals with H pipe, stock intake and quadrajet, and points ignition. A Turbo 350 with a "one-step above" stock converter and shift kit, and a 3.23 posi rear.

I'm currently running a TA 290-94H cam which is a 455 cam that TA had ground on a 350 cam base for me. It pulls very hard from about 2200 through 5800 rpms. I've been very happy with this cam, it works fine with the power brakes and has a nice little "lope" at idle.
