what carb. is this

    Are you sure the 4th digit is a 4?

    There is a 1971 750 cfm carb with the number 7041544 ...and that was used on 350's

    it should be off a 74 350. where do you find the cfms and other info?? thanks Tim

    Ok, then that looks like the correct application.

    Small block qjets are 750 cfm, and the big block carbs from 71 and up are 800's

    1970 and earlier, big block carbs were 750 cfm, but were different than the 350 carbs, because if an idle air bypass.
