what kind of carb and fuel punp are yall running on your 350s? i read somewhere on the site that a 350 would easily handle a 750 cfm carb. would the fuel pump have to be upgraded too? im planning on installing the t/a intake and headers with a 2 1/2 exaust with dual flowmasters. also lookin into the t/a 212 cam kit. and holley 750 double pumper. does this sound like a good setup?

    800 cfm q-jet, 800 cfm q-jet, 800 cfm q-jet. PAY ATTENTION, 800 CFM Q-JET.

Do yourself a favor and get a good Q-jet. You will get a lot better driveability and economy from it. I will never waste my time with another Holley for a street car.

I dont know much about Edelbrocks except a lot of guys having tuning probs with them. Holleys deliver lousy economy. I am running a Q-jet on my GS and would not reccomend anything else for a street car. A 750 will do just fine on a mild 350. As for the pump the stock AC does just fine. Besidses, no one makes a hipo pump for sbb's anymore. You would have to run an electric pump.

Yeah what Chris said. Im running a Q-Jet 800 cfm on my 350. It runs really sweet. Now on to installing the HEI finally.:Brow:

Get with good builder and give him your specs. It will be ready to run. The only thing you may have to adjust is the secondary air valve. Very simple procedure done with a screwdriver and an allen wrench. I reccomend Norm Dehli, but he is in Michigan. He is great and very fair to deal with.

My opinion is, don't waste you're time with a q-jet. Get a good holley. Seems like everyones got their own opinion tho. So buy one of each type, and try em all. I've had q-jet and 2 holleys on mine. Wasn't impressed with the first holley, was a 600, the q-jet was alrite, but the 750 holley was money.

The problem with a Holley is the poor idle circuit. Which nearly always causes a lean out during tip in. Not to mention nothing is adjustable so its off to speed shop for whatever. By the time you are done switching power valves, jets, discharge nozzles, pump cams etc. you will be wishing you had a properly set up Q-jet. I am only saying from personal experience.
