We wonder why there is so much trouble in the world...
We take a family's house that got destroyed in a fire, and build a huge, overwhelming house for the four people who live there and put it on a TV show. Not sure what the show is called, but I watched it, the house had to be worth AT least half a million if not more, the thing was freaking huge. Can't we just replace it with a similar, modest house? They could have built 10-15 houses at the price they had to have paid for that one and to make four people happy. I don't understand where this country's head has been. I'm not really into charity and all that, I believe if you work hard you can get by on your own. I understand bad things get thrown your way at times, and you have to deal with them and sometimes you need help, and I agree with that. Why do we pay people in this country NOT to work? I've read several threads where guys on here have lost their jobs and they do something about it... sell their prized car, sell their possessions that they can live without. I understand that stuff like that sells and people watch (like I did) but wouldn't a company get more respect for doing something like that at least once?

    Also... somewhat unrelated...
Why are we restoring Lance Armstrong's GTO or pimping Jack Osbourne's BMW? How about we give some poor people a decent car so they can get to a job and make something out of their lives, hell, put it on TV. Who wouldn't like to see a person like them get something, know that someone really does care. It makes me want to puke when I hear the commercials showing how they are going to overhaul some famous (most likely rich) person's car... what the heck?! I don't know how I'm getting to work most times!

I've been sitting around bored all day, and some things came to my mind and I had to get them out, they might not make sense, but whatever... sorry if I waste your time :p
