What do you think about this modifications in Photoshop?
Does it look better without the small window or not?
I dont think it looks to bad without the small window, since I have to put a new top on anyway, I was wondering about blocking the small window or maybe make it another shape.
I also putted on hopster wheels, not any nice job, but just to see how it will look like.
    Any inputs about this?

I never cared for the small window they added to those cars.
My vote would be to get rid of it. :bglasses:

I agree, it looks better without the small window. With those wheels I think it looks better with the clear windows.

Definately tint the windows, I think I like the stock buick rally wheels the best. I could go either way on the opera window. I like the oval opera window on the Lincolns, but the one on the Buick isn't as nice.

I'd say no tint (or at least, not as dark), blocked opera windows and Buick chrome wheels.

Without the window, it looks just like the '73 Electras, I like. :Brow:  I agree on the Buick Raylle wheels, they look better than most wheels. :bglasses:

    Dark windows, dark wheels.
    Clear windows, chrome wheels.

Otherwise it's like wearing a black shirt and white shoes.

Maybe so, but if your Buick has white shoes, everyone will look at them :3gears:

Is there any reproduction of Buick Rally wheels?

    Hi
It looks like its the smaller bolt circle 5x 4, 75; I think I have 5x5.

That's right, I don't think that the 5" bolt pattern wheels are reproduced, however, used ones are still relatively easy to find... Last year, I got a set of decent ones (for 1960's Buicks) for 70$ at a flea market. The 1971 and newer wheels should be easier to find.

I found this website, were they have 17 and 18 look alike Buick rally wheels.

But they are very expensive. http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/listproducts.asp?cat=101180
I putted on the summer tires on my Buick today and there are a lot of weights on every rim. (Its new tires)
I dont know if the rims on these cars have shorter life, because they are so heavy.
The rims dont have any damage that I can see.
I have putted the worst rims in the back.

These wheels are those for mid-size (and some 1977 and newer full size) Buicks, they don't fit a 1976 Electra as they have a smaller 4 3/4" bolt pattern.

I looked at the description and it says:

    Item Name: Billet Vintiques
Description: The Billet Buick Rallye 18x8 is custom built to your specifications. 5x4 3/4 or 5x5 single bolt circle,Minimum Backspacing 4" - Maximum 4 1/2"

The Buick rims really are classic. They look good on just about any car, too.

I'm wondering if the reproduction 5" bolt pattern wheels look like the one pictured or if they look like the original 5" bolt pattern wheels?

The factory 4 3/4" bolt pattern wheels have the weld joint visible at the front while it's at the rear on the 5" bolt pattern wheels. The "tube" at the center also extends more on the 5" bolt pattern wheels and the chrome "spokes" are curved on them instead of being straight as those on the small bolt pattern wheels.

I like the look without the "opera" window. Much cleaner, IMO. Tinted glass looks good, too.
Go for the Buick Rally's or something similar. A race style or hotrod-type wheel looks out of place on these cars. You need something subtle to avoid the "bling-bling" factor.

Just wondering... what are the window tint laws over there in Norway?
