As most of y'all know, I reproduce the woodgrain dash kits for the '70-'72 models as well as console kits for the '68-'73 consoles. I just got the black ones done for the dash and will finally have the '69 pieces done shortly (I know, it's only been 2 years...)

Anyway, what's next? Some folks have approached me for GN interior pieces in the past but since I don't have one, I'm not as knowledgeble on these.

I would rather not print or produce anything that has a GM trademark so I don't have to wait years for their approval (like decals and such). But, I'm open for suggestions.

    Let me know. Thanks.

Greg, do you mean along the lines of the dash kits or just in general??

Just about anything that can be printed or produced via silk-screen or computer graphics. I run a graphic design studio and print shop for a living and do this kind of thing daily. I'd be willing to look into the decals, however there are quite a few others out there doing them and most are pretty decent.

I've been approached by other Buick owners about dash pieces for different models, as well as by Olds and Pontiac owners for similar items.

    Just looking for ideas...

    Greg,
Do you [or anyone alse for that matter] know anything about having a speedometer re-programed???

Reason I'm asking, if they can be re-programed, I'd love to have a zero to 150 mph face plate for mine, also a 4 speed face, no
    P-R-N-D-2-1 printed on the bottom

    Whatcha think????

I have an idea Greg, how much would it cost to get a silksceen decal of a tach face made?? Year one sells the repro tach, but the numbers don't look right....I need a tach for my ragtop project and it looks like that is my only recourse right now...

Or how about a "tag" kit that contains a throttle cable tag, booster tag, coil tags, etc..could maybe break it up by year or just offer all kinds of combos for people to work out??

    Just a thought

BTW, I need the black dash decal kit, how much and where do I send my money?

ALSO :) I heard rumours you were parting a convertible, I need a few things if its true, let me know...

    Thanks

    Plate for speed ometer

I would be interested in the face of a speedo for the Riv 1973. 150 or 160 would be good The cable drive can be adjusted by any speedo shop depending on the tire and rear. Sound's like a saleable peice to me and I'm sure that there are others out there who would buy them for the large cars. Should be a lot of years the same and should be similarity between models.

How about a bumper sticker that reads something like,

"You've just been beaten by your worst nightmare. A Buick!"

    or

    "Kiss My A$$ Chevy!"

Can you silk-screen me a 71 GS grille ? It might be the only way I can get one at a decent price.

Ya Know..... I'm in the printing biz too and have thought alot about doing bumper stickers myself. And I like this one!
: Static cling labels for windows, and precious paint jobs?
    How about some more ideas.
    This is certainly feasable.

    Tim,
I think Duane Heckman at Classic Car Interiors does a "tag kit" that you are speaking of...check out www.classiccarinteriors.com to see if this is what you need.

    speedo face

I'd be interested in a 160 or 180 face for the 68-70 full size buicks.Anyone out there know someone they may even attempt this.

I silk screened a speedo plate for my LeSabre, which is the same for Riv, Electra, and estate wagons (71).

I used white vinyl with black numbers. But I used the stock 120 guage to make the screen. It looks sweet! I also stuck the vinyl on a plate that bolts onto the face of the speedometer so I can remove it whenever I want...so I can have the stock appearance when/if I decide to sell it.

Here's a link to the picture of it in the car.

I jsut thought it was a neat idea, since it seems to be a popular thing in the newer cars. I like the look too:grin:

I think that THAT IS AN AWESOME IDEA!!!
Consider one sold to me! I'll do everyone the favor of helping with the correct speedo gears if they become available! Reminds me of the dash in the newer Bullitt Mustang...

Stick shift, 150 MPH - yes!!
