What emblem should go here? Trunk lid

    Hi all,

    What emblem should go here above the key lock of a 1968 trunk lid? It originates from a 4 -door Skylark and has 3 holes.

    It is a replacement lid for my '69, but the '69 doesn't have these holes.
    And unfortunately the '68 didn't come with emblem. So now my freshly painted lid has holes.

    From an old photo of the replacement the remaining dust seems to say "SKYLARK"?

    I don't think anything would have been there originally. Maybe a dealership logo?

    Hm. That explains I couldn't find a single picture of it.

    Okay, that's unfortunate. Hopefully someone will chime in with an idea. Or a clever solution for the holes. I don't want to leave it open.
