Anyone out there with an untouched original 71 Stage especially with AC? which fan do you have? The service manual contradicts itself. In the chart it states a 455 GS with AC uses a 7 Blade 18" fan and the text says 5 blade 20". I know the fan shroud for 71 is bigger to accomadate the 20". I have both fans and tried them both on hot summer days and they cool exactly the same? Also if you have the original fan is it riveted with square attachments or pointed? If you look at it you will see what i mean. I have looked at many cars over the years at GS nationals and local and have seen many different fans. Any original owners out there. I would like to be correct Thanks.
