what is the correct air cleaner cover color?

I am wanting to repaint the air cleaner cover and housing on my 1970 buick gsx. I know it is supposed to be glossy but not sure if it is supposed to be gloss black. Also is the cover shinner than the housing

 

both are gloss black

 

Original magazine article pictures of these even though black and white show them to be pretty shiny. Maybe 80% gloss black if there is such a thing.
