What kind of finish on a factory 70 Stage 1?

    I am building a factory stock model of a 70 GS Stage 1 in Burgundy mist. What kind of finish would a car on the showroom floor have in 1970. What kind of shine would it have?
    I know that the paints used in 1970 where a lot different than the paint of today.

    GM used lacquer back then with no clearcoat. The finish was shiny naturally, but it didnt have that mile deep shine that todays paints have.
