I was just wondering what kinda gains i can expect after i upgrade my car. Last year it ran 15.7's consistently at the track with one 15.6. Since then ive lightened the car about a hundred pounds. and i plan on switching from my current 2:73 open rear to a 3:43 or 3:73 posi. Im also gonna pull off the exaust manifolds and the $20 dollar exaust job that looks like someone bent the pipes with a torch and a bench vise and go with ta's large tube headers (if theyre available in chrome yet) and the exaust system from ta.....im currently running a poormans setup on the motor.....ISKY cam which has .450/.450 256/256 ...stock stall..TH350...10.25:1 pistons..60 over....with a edelbrock 600(yeah i know, not enough flow)....im eventually this year gonna get the TA212 and Intake and get a stall somewhere in the 2600 - 2800 range. Any ideas or anybody done the same thing? what times did you run?
