Does anybody know which intake makes more power? The Offenhauser dual quad hi-rise intake or The TA Performance SP1 single plane intake. I would like to know, because I have'nt seen them compared together before. If any info PLEASE reply.o No:
It all depends on your setup for the rest of the motor. The Edelbrock B4B dual plane is a good all-around intake. THe offenhauser 2x4 I hear is not much of a power increase - as opposed to what some might think. The Edelbrock Performer intake is nice.....it's the child of the B4B.
The thing that sells me on the Edelbrock performer (aside from the weight I don't have to chase around the block when I install it) is that it will allow the use of the stock ram air aircleaner. If better ones did (or do!) I will look into them, but until then, it's the performer for me.
