What octane with 10.25:1 SP 350?

    Anyone have any input? Could I get away with using 93? And how close is the '70 SP 350's compression to the 10.25 rating?

    Probably, depending on where you live and how detail oriented you are with tuning.
    Octane tolerance isn't a yes/no question.

    You would have to tune for the fuel. Chances are carb is going to be alittle lean too. Ethanol in fuel. 93 should be pretty good thou.

    True compression was far more like 9.6 to 9.8 at best.
