    SEM Dye http://www.autostyles.com/sem.htm

You will need to get them free of any grease and dirt. The use the activator per the instructions to be followed by the dye itself.

If it is a metal surface then I would use paint , not dye, maybe mixed to match with a light gun.

'67 seat backs are metal, so you don't need to use SEM dye....that's for the later plastic backs.
If you have an old Ditzler color chip page for a '67 Buick, the interior paint code should be on the back.
Your local autobody supply store might still have those old pages.

    Here's a color chart for 1965:
    http://gransports.com/1965/65-GS-Interior-Colors.htm
Dupont also issued an 11 page color guide for '66 GM models. There are 5 different interior reds shown for '66 Buick!
'66 Assembly manual gives a Fisher#3370 for med red, and #3357 for dark red. Unfortunately, the paint code #'s are different for each manufacturer.:Dou:

I say your best bet is to stop at your local paint supply store and see if they have old color charts:
    PPG/Ditzler
    Dupont
    RM
    Shermin Williams

    George,

I feel your pain... I am having trouble finding the correct interior paint to use for the yellow on my 67.

If you run across any of those paint codes let me know. If I find anything out, I will let you know.

All interior stuff was painted with interior lacquer from the factory. Tower PAints mixes anything and puts in spray bombs.

The thing is do they have a 67 buick interior code book?

    Thanks

    http://www.towerpaint.com/automotive.html

You'll have to give them a phone call to see if they have what you need.

Color charts are available from almost anyone that sells automotive literature. There are listings on eBay, Hemmings, etc. But not all have interior paint info.
The problem you are likely to encounter is many of the color codes may be obsolete. I suggest you PHONE tech support for the paint manufactures I mentioned above. Good luck!

I gave tower paints a call this morning. The lady I spoke with was really nice. She did find "yellow" for 1967, and fortunately she said there was only one of them. I asked for the code and the only thing she had was "193" which is my trim code. The paint is only available in a lacquer (which is original), and they did have it for $19.95/can.

George, I asked about red and she gave me three codes 167, 197 , and 935. The 167 and 197 are obviously bench/bucket trim codes in red, but I don't know what the 935 is...maybe it is the actual color code??? Although it doesn't seem to have enough numbers, and without knowing what manufacturers code it is...:Do No:

    Hope this helps.
