What`s a set of L89 heads worth?

    What`s a good price for a used set of BB Chevy L89 heads? I believe the last 3 digits of the casting numbers are 842.

    I'm no expert, by any stretch, but I'd put 'em like this:

    Brand New/NOS - $5000

    Used, but un-molested - $4000

    Used, ported/work done - $2500

    Here's another set on ebay, Item number: 8043488556.

    I have no idea on what their worth, but a lot depends on the date code for the restoration crowd. Those heads are also known to be crack prone.
