Any one know what size speed nuts are used for the chrome hood trim for a 73 skylark? 3/16 or 1/4 inch? Thanks
You mean 1973 Regal? Not sure you'll get an answer to that quickly. I would take the trim to a body supply store and see what fits.
Larry's suggestion is a good one. The studs on your trim may be compromised from previous removals/installation and as such the correct sized speed nut may not function as intended. You may end up using a smaller SAE nut, or even a metric nut to get a tight fit.
