What to expect between 1.6 and 1.7 rockers...

I'd like to get Garys rockers mainly from a reliability standpoint as I've been constantly repairing my old KB rockers.
My main concern is increased valve clearance then after that,pushrod length...
I have wiseco .035 flycut pistons from burek,and a healthy straightline solid..nothing radical,I remember having plenty clearance when I measured it before.

Fish you should be fine you may only get another .040 lift if you are over 600" lift now. Do everything else though such as you said push rod length.

 

Best thing to do is just check it. Not really worth the risk. Remember check intake 10* after tdc and exhaust 10* before

Yep I think I'm good,I found I already had 9.4s in it...thanks again, Gary...Fish

 

1.7s will be more noisey with a solid cam than 1.6
