lol....Oh I'm sure I'll see that bondo bucket driving around in Cali someday, and when I zoom past in my actual 63, the guy will say "hey, what year is yer Buick" and when I tell him, he'll be really confused as he gets a big wiff of my exhaust.. :3gears:

btw...there is a big difference between 62 and 63, totally new body style bumper to bumper...

I know Nick, just kidding you there ! :beer

But I stopped telling people what the real model year of their car is if they advertise it wrong. Especially here in the Netherlands where the year of issue of the car papers is often being mistaked as being the model year. For example: a 1973 model year Riviera, with a first date of November 11th 1972, will be advertised as being a 1972 Riviera.

Or a 1976 late model year Electra, that was produced in the 2nd week of September 1976 (model year ended on September 30th 1976), shipped to the Netherlands and due to a cancellation sold in February 1977, current owner claimed it was a 1977 Electra just because that was the first date on the car's papers.

Go ahead: order body parts for a re-sized Electra while you still have the full size model...... :Dou:

I dunno Erik....It seems pretty simple to me even if you're a complete numbskull, you can figure out the year of a car. And while I'm at it, I saw another guy last night selling a 63 Special with an original 350 engine..lol I can go on Google and in 3 seconds pull up the options for 63..350 aint one of them. If you're smart enough to get a picture of your car for sale on the internet then you should be able to figure out how to look at the tail lights. :Dou:
