Got a good RC-27 cap lying around. What did it come off of? Is it correct for any of my 1969 machines?

    radiator cap

The rc-27 is a generic number used by acdelco on there radiator caps to describe the cap.Its fits many different types of radiators. It should be a 15psi cap with no ears or covers on it,there is also a rc-33,rc35,rc44 and the difference on most of the
older caps is if they have ears on the top to help grab it.Some have two, four or none. Some have covers on top of them which gives them a new number. The 27 should work for most older buick radiators

Some cars, like my '70 Skylark, may take a cap similar to that one because of the semi-enclosed coolant recovery system. The radiator cap was not intended for removal, the idea was to use the radiator overflow tank to add coolant. So the caps for that system had no ears.

So is an old RC-27 something someone wants, or is it repro-ed, or is it junk and I toss it? It's a freebie, I suppose.
